Corrections policy
A library is only useful if its entries are right. If you find a wrong figure, a broken source, an outdated entry rule or a summary that misreads a study, please tell us.
Flagging a mistake
Write to info@dentprecious.com or send a WhatsApp message. We can act faster if you tell us:
- the web address of the page,
- the sentence, figure, study, price or rule you think is wrong,
- a source for the correct information, if you have one (a PubMed ID, a journal link or an official government page).
Researchers, dentists and readers with no dental background are all welcome. A report that a paragraph was confusing is useful too.
What we do next
- ReadWe read every report.Anything about medical content goes to our reviewing surgeon, Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek.
- CheckWe go back to the source. For studies, the original paper; for entry rules, the official page; for prices, the clinic's current published prices; for conversions, the European Central Bank rate.
- Fix or explainWe correct the page, or reply with our reasons. If we think the page is right, we tell you why and give the source.
We aim to reply within a few working days, and to correct errors about safety or risk first.
How corrections are shown
Typing errors, broken links and wording changes that do not change the meaning are fixed without a note. When a change affects a figure, a study summary, a price, an entry rule or anything that could change a decision, we correct the page, update its date, check other pages that make the same point, and add an entry to the log below.
