Travelling to Antalya for full-mouth implants: guides by country
Where you fly from changes almost everything about the trip: the entry rules, the flight, the jet lag and who looks after your implants afterwards. Pick your country below. Every entry rule links to an official government page, checked on 24 October 2026.

Why a country-by-country guide?
Full-mouth implant treatment in Türkiye is normally done over two trips a few months apart: implants and fixed temporary teeth on the first, the final bridge on the second. At Precious Dental, the clinic that publishes this library, the package includes 4 hotel nights on the first visit and 5 on the second, plus airport and clinic transfers. Flights are not included, so the travel part is yours to plan.
A reader in Dublin can be in Antalya in an afternoon with no time change worth mentioning. A reader in Sydney or Vancouver crosses half the planet, arrives jet-lagged and has to think about blood clots on the way home after surgery. Someone in Riyadh or Doha is in the same time zone as Antalya. The surgery is the same for all of them; the planning is not.
What each guide covers
- Entry rules for Türkiye for that nationality, quoted from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and your own government's travel advice, with the date we checked.
- How people usually reach Antalya Airport (AYT) from that region, in general terms. Routes change by season, so check airline sites.
- Time difference, rest days and long-flight health advice from public health bodies.
- Finding a dentist at home for check-ups, using official registers.
- Insurance, tax and currency points that are specific to that country.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs says visitors need a passport that expires at least 60 days after the end of their permitted stay. For a 90-day visa-free stay that means at least 150 days of validity on the day you arrive. The same page advises having a passport valid for at least six months from arrival. Read the MFA page.
Visa-free rules are written for tourism and business. Türkiye's visa system also has a separate category for "Medical Treatment Purposes" (MFA general visa information), and Canada's official advice says a medical visa is required for people travelling to seek medical services, applied for through the HealthTürkiye portal. Other governments word this differently. Ask the Turkish embassy or consulate that serves you which category fits a dental treatment visit before you book. We are a dental clinic, not immigration advisers, and we cannot decide this for you.
Things that apply wherever you start
Bring your records. A recent panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan, a list of the medicines you take with doses, and any letters about heart, blood-thinning or bone medication. Your surgeon in Antalya plans the case from the 3D scan, and you will go home with copies of your X-rays and scans and an implant passport that lists what was placed. Keep both safe: your dentist at home will need them.
Leave space around surgery day. The timeline tool shows how the two visits usually fall. Long-haul travellers often add a rest day before surgery; there is more on that in each guide and in our article on jet lag and surgery after long-haul flights.
Check insurance carefully. Ordinary travel insurance often treats planned medical treatment differently from accidents. Read the policy wording about elective procedures and complications before you buy it.
Know the price in your currency. Our prices are set in pounds sterling. The cost converter shows approximate amounts in euro, US, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollars and Swiss francs at a stated, dated exchange rate.
Still unsure whether you are a candidate at all? Start with the candidate checker, then send us an X-ray for a written plan.

Send a recent panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan, or a few clear photos. Our implant surgeon reviews them and you receive an itemised plan in pounds, with approximate euro and dollar figures, before you book anything.
